For fully implement the work safety policy of "safety first, prevention foremost, comprehensive management", effectively upgrade the fire safety management standards of Newtrend, comprehensively raise all staff’s awareness of fire risk prevention and practical emergency response capabilities, clarify the job responsibilities and disposal procedures of each post amid fire emergencies, and simultaneously verify the rationality of the Fire Emergency Response Plan, the integrity of fire-fighting facilities and equipment, and the coordination capacity of multi-department emergency response teams so as to minimize casualties and property losses caused by potential fire accidents, Newtrend organized a comprehensive fire emergency drill themed "Prevent Fire Risks · Build a Solid Safety Barrier" on April 17

At 3:30 PM. the full-scale emergency drill commenced as scheduled. During the activity, all employees completed a series of sessions in accordance with the emergency plan, including fire emergency evacuation drills, on-site training on the operation of emergency and fire-fighting equipment, as well as live fire extinguishing practice with fire suppression gear.

Upon the fire alarm sounding, employees from all departments and workshops evacuated swiftly to the designated safe assembly point along pre-planned escape routes, bending low to avoid smoke under the guidance of floor safety officers. The entire evacuation proceeded in an orderly and standardized manner. Meanwhile, the medical rescue team administered first aid to simulated casualties; the evacuation guidance team kept all escape passages unobstructed; the logistics support team supplied all necessary materials; and the security team maintained on-site order. All links operated seamlessly, ensuring zero blockage on life-saving escape routes.

Company leaders delivered a summary speech after the drill concluded.He remarked that the drill was carried out in strict accordance with the emergency plan with tight scheduling and remarkable results, fulfilling all anticipated objectives, while certain procedural details still required further optimization. Tthe Group will continue to ramp up safety training and regular drills to steadily improve employees’ emergency response, self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities in the future, providing a solid safeguard for stable work safety operations.

This drill constitutes is not only a core component of the annual Safety Capacity Enhancement Program, but also serves as a tangible demonstration of the Group’s commitment to the principle of “putting lives first and pursuing safe development”.
