At 9 a.m. on March 14,2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for the glycine production base of Newtrend (Jingzhou) New Materials Co.,Ltd.was held in Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zonegrandly. 
Mr.Wang Xiaoqiang, Chairman of the Board of Newtrend, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Leaders from the Administrative Committee of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, representatives of project design, construction and financial partners, as well as the Group’s core management team were all present to witness this milestone in the Group’s development journey.
To further consolidate its global leading position in glycine products and optimize its strategic layout, Newtrend plans to build the production base with an annual output of 60,000 tons of industrial-grade glycine and 40,000 tons of food-grade glycine in Jingzhou. Scheduled to be fully completed and put into operation in January 2027, the project will become the world’s largest food-grade glycine manufacturing plant upon completion. It will also serve as the core production hub of Newtrend in Central China, injecting brand-new momentum into the Group’s business expansion.
In his address, Chairman Wang stated that Glycine as an essential basic chemical feedstock and food additive, features extensive application scenarios and strong market demand. The groundbreaking of the Jingzhou production base marks a crucial step for Newtrend to fulfill its development mission and expand its industrial footprint. Adhering to the development philosophy of "high standards, strict requirements and high efficiency", the Group will integrate quality, safety and environmental protection into the entire construction process, strictly control all links including engineering construction, quality management and work safety, accelerate construction progress, and strive to build a modern, green, intelligent and highly efficient glycine production base.

Representatives of project partners delivered speeches one after another at the ceremony.
As the designated design institute for the project, draws on its nearly six decades of profound industry expertise, the backing of a central state-owned enterprise platform, and cutting-edge digital and green design technologies, Sinopharm Engineering pledged to develop this project into an industry benchmark for glycine plant design.
As the general contractor,Henan Luting Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., solemnly promised to enforce rigorous quality control, carry out safe and civilized construction, and fully deliver a high-quality model project.
As the project’s financial collaborator, Bank of Communications Jingzhou Branch pledges to deliver professional financial backing and capital support, enabling Newtrend to streamline capital flows and better allocate resources.All participating parties expressed their commitment to full collaboration with Xinqian Group to ensure smooth project advancement and on-time commissioning.

A traditional lion eye-dotting ritual was also held on site. Dotting the lion’s eyes symbolizes turning stone into gold, awakening vitality and ushering in good fortune. Witnessed by all attendees, Chairman Wang announced the launch of the glycine production base of Newtrend (Jingzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd.officially.Construction machinery sounded their horns and auspicious lions danced, pushing the ceremony to its climax.
