On the morning of November 21, 2025, the construction of the Curcumin Capacity Expansion Project at the Indonesia production base of Newtrend officially broke ground within the factory compound. This milestone marks a new phase in Newtrend’s capacity upgrading and strategic layout in the natural plant extraction sector

As a natural healthy raw material with steadily rising global market demand, curcumin relies on product quality, stability and supply capacity as core competitive advantages. Launched to cope with surging global market demand and growing customer orders, this expansion project is a key corporate initiative scheduled for 2026. The kickoff of this expansion represents a vital step for Newtrend to advance industrial upgrading and will further strengthen the Group’s comprehensive competitiveness across domestic and international markets. The project will raise the annual designed curcumin output from the original 70 tons to approximately 250 tons, greatly boosting supply chain flexibility and responsiveness to international orders.
Beyond curcumin production expansion, the project will concurrently build new production units for turmeric oleoresin and water-soluble curcumin. This will further diversify the Group’s product portfolio, raise added product value, and supply customers with a wider range of high-performance natural extract raw materials.
Through factory renovation, new equipment procurement, production process optimization and the addition of critical manufacturing machinery, the expansion project will deliver simultaneous growth in production volume and product quality.
Construction is scheduled to be completed and trial production launched by the end of May 2026. Upon operation, the base will feature stronger supply capacity and a more systematic product lineup, supplying high-quality curcumin and its derivatives to global markets.
